Durante toda una semana los amantes del café en toda España podrán asistir gratuitamente a 5 talleres sobre el cultivo el café, su tratamiento y elaboración. Cada español consume más de 500 tazas al año de café, según la Asociación Española del Café (AECafé), más de 3,81 kg al año. Es la segunda bebida preferida en todo el mundo sólo por detrás del agua. El 1 de octubre se celebra el Día Internacional del Café y Starbucks®, primer distribuidor y tostador de café del mundo y marca operada por Alsea en España desde 2018, ha preparado una semana completa de talleres. En ellos los amantes del buen café podrán profundizar en su historia, conocer de primera mano cómo es el proceso desde que se recoge el grano hasta que llega a la taza, las aclamadas mezclas Starbucks o en qué consiste las prácticas C.A.F.E que lleva a cabo la compañía para cuidar al caficultor y su compromiso con la producción sostenible. Antes de poder disfrutar de una buena taza de café, éste ha recorrido un largo camino. Un proceso en el que han intervenido productores, agricultores y trabajadores. Todos ellos hacen posible que se pueda disfrutar de esta popular bebida con la máxima calidad. A esto hay que añadir que el papel del café como nexo de unión y catalizador social es innegable. No hay nada como tomarse un café en compañía. “Cuando se piensa en café, se piensa en Starbucks®.  El café de mayor calidad, totalmente personalizado al gusto del cliente, con el máximo sabor y en un ambiente inmejorable” afirma Antonio Romero, director general de Starbucks Iberia. “El Día del Café es un día muy importante para la compañía, por ello, dedicamos una semana completa a la realización de diferentes seminarios con el objetivo de acercar un poco más la cultura de esta importante bebida” concluye. Para celebrar el Día del Café (1 de octubre) por todo lo alto todos los usuarios de la aplicación de Starbucks®  que compren un café ese día, antes de las 12 horas, obtendrán un vale que podrán canjear por un café gratis. Cinco talleres para conocer el viaje del café hasta el Starbucks®  más cercanoLa Semana del Café de Starbucks®  ofrecerá cinco seminarios gratuitos por toda España donde se realizará un recorrido por el origen de esta popular bebida y cómo finalmente llega a los clientes de la conocida cadena. Los asistentes tendrán un ‘Diario del explorador del café’ para que empiecen su viaje por este apasionante mundo.El primero de los talleres comienza el lunes 30 de septiembre y profundizará en la ‘Historia del café’. Los clientes podrán conocer de primera mano cómo se expande el café desde su lugar de origen al mundo y, por supuesto, se abordarán los comienzos de la marca en 1971 en Seattle, Estados Unidos.El martes 1de octubre se realizará el taller ‘Geografía del sabor’, un evento que se centrará en el conocido como ‘cinturón del café’, sus diferencias y por qué esta zona cumple con las condiciones ambientales idóneas para cultivar café a nivel mundial. También se hablará del café reserver y de por qué es tan especial.‘Desde la planta a la taza’ es el taller que se realizará el miércoles 2 de octubre. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
